The two principle carvers have 16 and 26 years experience respectively with have training and expertise in the following: The repair and restoration of monuments using both traditional and modern methods conforming to applicable ASTM Standards. Dutchman repairs in all types of stone including but not limited to- Granite, Marble, Limestone. Model and mold making for use in carving final pieces in stone. Hand carving of architectural elements such as profiles, columns, capitals, pediments, etc., and sculptural carving including figurative elements, flora and fauna, and all other various and sundry subject matter. Tooling and surfacing of stone to match existing surfaces. Letter carving in a variety of stones including limestone, marble, and granite.
